• Santiago's office market is spread throughout five main submarkets: Santiago Centro, Providencia, Las Condes, Vitacura and Huechuraba.

• The market's expansion occurred mainly in the 90's driven by Chile's rapid economic growth and the increasing demand for high-class office spaces.

• Multinational companies' demand for corporate-standard offices has brought sophistication to the market in terms of commercial practices, technology, standards and sustainability.

• Most high-standard buildings are wholly owned by a single landlord and multi-tenant ownership is characteristic of older buildings.
